RE: Travel - Lukyan Lyubof - 19-07-2010 04:10 PM Sounds like a lovely plan! There is a good Dali Museum in St. Petersburg (wait for it!) Florida. If there's a next time, skip Newark and head for Florida! http://thedali.org/ No. Wait. Spain is much better! ![]() RE: Travel - Nia M - 19-07-2010 08:51 PM Am going to France again on the 1st of August - back to my French exchange's house. Cannot wait! ![]() RE: Travel - newagent - 31-07-2010 12:33 AM Going to Chicago tomorrow, hang out in the downtown area and back Sunday afternoon. RE: Travel - JHyde - 31-07-2010 06:56 AM I never expected Berlin to be a city I'd want to visit, but the way Bea has been speaking of it since she got back, I now want to go! RE: Travel - Philippa - 31-07-2010 10:02 AM I absolutely love to travel! Perhaps it's in my blood, considering that my dad works for a major airline and my mum and grandpa used to as well. I was born and raised in the Netherlands and currently live in Amsterdam, although my parents live in France so I spend quite a lot of time over there as well. In Europe I've travelled to: Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Wales, Sweden and Greece. I've also been to Egypt, South Africa, Sri Lanka, US (Texas), Bonaire and CuraƧao (Dutch caribbean), Canary Islands and Isla Margarita (off the coast of Venezuela). And there are so many more countries I still want to visit ![]() (19-07-2010 08:51 PM)Nia M Wrote: Am going to France again on the 1st of August - back to my French exchange's house. Cannot wait! Whereabouts in France will you be staying Nia? RE: Travel - Nia M - 31-07-2010 11:19 AM I'm going to a place near Bernay, a town not far from Rouen. You sound pretty well travelled! I've not been to many places within Europe, although I'd love to one day. RE: Travel - Philippa - 31-07-2010 01:51 PM Ah, that's quite far away from where I am at the moment. I'm in the East of France, about 150 kilometres from the Swiss border. And living on the continent makes it a lot easier to travel to other European countries. For instance, we used to live about a 20 minute drive from the Belgian border, so sometimes we just popped over to Belgium to do our grocery shopping ![]() RE: Travel - Nia M - 31-07-2010 02:30 PM Aww, I'd love to be able to do that. As it is, I'm a little too far away from Scotland or Wales or France to do something like that ![]() RE: Travel - YourFutureMuse - 31-07-2010 05:06 PM Crete was amazing and I am definitely returning and recomend it to anyone who hasn't been! I stayed in Agios Nikolaos which is an amazing town and went to the archaelogical museum there so often that the women recognised me and on my 4th visit let me go behind the scenes to see where they were doing restoration work on a skull! So cool ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I remembered why I loved travelling (although I did throw something which can only be described as a temper tantrum at the airport check in desk and again on the plane because they didn't have the veggie meal I'd preordered hahaha what a diva ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post is a lot longer than I anticipated in to be lol but my internet has dropped so before i can press send I have to restart my router so I am babbling yay ![]() |
