You're in New York, right? It's almost 80 F here in Florida today. My idea of a white Christmas is the sand at the beach. We did have snow on Christmas back in 1989. If you name the reindeer John, you can be John Deere Green. RE: Spooky Holidays - JHyde - 14-12-2009 07:43 PM I can see how that joke appeals to you. It is pretty funny. I always find my hair catches in dangly things at Christmas. I think I've picked my Christmas movie to watch after I come back from work Christmas Day. I think it will be Die Hard, which is somewhat seasonally appropriate. RE: Spooky Holidays - bertowud - 14-12-2009 08:30 PM We watch The Christmas Story every year at least twice. RE: Spooky Holidays - JHyde - 14-12-2009 08:33 PM I said on the books thread that I re-read the Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder at this time every year. Nope, I'm in northern Virginia, directly across the river from Washington, DC. Yesterday, it was 25 F and raining. Today, 45F and clear. Still cold, though! RE: Spooky Holidays - JHyde - 14-12-2009 08:46 PM Will you maybe go and see the tree at the White House? Is that even possible? RE: Spooky Holidays - lwhite53 - 14-12-2009 08:51 PM Yes, it is possible and I'll probably get around to it. Although, to be fair, it doesn't hold a candle to the one at Rockefeller Center in NYC.
