According to the BBC Press Office, Spooks will not start until at least 17th September. Week 37 goes up to 16th Sept, and it is not listed for that week.

There's been a few rumours, that as New Tricks and Torchwood finish soon the air date could be either the 19th or 22nd of September
Which is either a Monday or a Thursday.
No idea how reliable that information is though, Ian Wylie said air can change up until the last minute that it's confirmed
And it should mean also that we have an air date confirmed by next week... *Shakes head* This week is going to go so slow

With New Tricks finishing on September 05 and Spooks not listed for Sept 12 it looks as if it will either NOT be a Monday or not air until later in the year.

I'm thinking it will be a different day because alot of releases about the new series say...airing september 2011 as far as i know

For those interested. Spooks air date the week of the 19th, could still be a Monday or Thurday 22nd as The Body Farm has been given an air date of Tuesday 13th. So it will not be taking the Monday slot as first thought.
I'm still convinced it will be the 22nd September though for several reasons.
I wonder if theres a way to bet with cake?

It's very strange that there doesn't seem to be anything major factored in for September 12th. I have had a look to see if there's a football match on or a one-off drama, but nothing springs to mind. It would be awkward to start Spooks that week because it will be the day after the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
I would put my cake on the 19th, as Monday seemed to be a successful slot last year. We will hopefully find out this week.

If the Body Farm has been given the air date of a Tuesday, then its still possible to be either day... we're still waiting for the BBC to give out the press release, expected this thursday apparently?
So we should know soon what day Spooks will be on
Has Spooks ever been shown on a Thursday before? I think someone says it hasn't, so is it possible to they'd put it on a Thursday just for a change from the last Series
A source on Twitter did say Spooks was going to air on a Monday... no idea how trustworthy that source is though... and of course it's Twitter... where rumours dominate

According to Cultbox on Twitter, there is an embrargo on releasing Spooks S10 promo pics until the 13th Sept. As that's the date the TV Mags generally go out in the UK, chances are that it will air sometime in the week beginning 19th Sept as a few people have already said.
Hopefully this means we'll be getting a 'coming soon' trailer very soon.

ahhhh can hardly contain my excitement its ridiculus!!
the coming soon trailer would even be a start. im really not worried about what day it airs...I WILL be free anyday
