Look at the bright side, without Fox News we would have on one to make fun of! Ha ha! Did you just try to take responsibility for the wrongheaded wrongness (sorry, 'Fair and balanced' nature) of Fox News so Rupert Murdoch wouldn't have to?! It isn't broadcast on any of the terrestrial channels, and I have no idea if it forms part of one or other of the numerous subscription packages to Sky, but we sure can see it online. Wrong like a starving child is wrong. RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - Nitrus - 27-02-2011 07:21 PM I'm not aware of Fox News airing in the UK. But being as I live on the internet I sure know a lot about them. RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - DerekBanks - 28-02-2011 03:00 AM Fox News!!! What's wrong with Fox News? As a resident of Thailand I'm not able to watch this channel on TV here. ![]() RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - A Cousin - 28-02-2011 02:18 PM (27-02-2011 07:18 PM)binkie Wrote: Ha ha! I *hope* you know a me a bit better than that. ![]() (28-02-2011 03:00 AM)DerekBanks Wrote: Fox News!!! DerekBanks, believe me, there is no loss to you for not being able to watch it. Fox News is a US news source that promotes ultra conservative political positions. They would say that they are "fair and balanced" but I challenge that. Have you heard the saying, "You can't make this sh*t up?" Well, they just make it up - full stop. So much so that they become the brunt of many jokes from the more liberal pundits. There are those that would strongly challenge me on this assessment. Curse you, Internet, for making us rely on the tyranny of the smiley-face to mitigate expressions of poorly-constructed sarcasm!!! No, of course I'm not trying to bait you, I just thought it was sweet how you seemed to be apologising on behalf of the entire American broadcast media for the existence of Fox News, and there isn't a smiley between ![]() ![]() (28-02-2011 02:18 PM)A Cousin Wrote: There are those that would strongly challenge me on this assessment. Yes, but surely these are people who are otherwise distracted by learning to walk upright [insert smiley of appropriately judgmental character]. Oh boy, what isn't wrong with Fox News? ![]() RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - Jackk14 - 10-04-2011 02:03 AM God please don't even consider Spooks on Sky. A) They ruin any decent series they ever get (e.g Prison Break) and their ideas when they tried to acquire NCIS was shocking. B) I can't get a sky reception at my house so I'd never be able to see it. RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - bertowud - 13-04-2011 04:27 PM I think Prison Break ruined Prison Break. Is Sky News anything like Fox News? A Cousin, I think it's the Aussies only inflict it on us not others. ![]() RE: What will News Corp do with Spooks - BAUER24 - 14-04-2011 09:29 AM The advantage of News Corp having anything to do with spooks is that it might be on for a larger amount of episodes.
