Yes he has always had wonderful hair, although a little less of it these days! You could still see the curls in series 3 of Spooks when he had it a lot longer than in series 1 and 2. Actually his hair looks brown now so I wonder if he darkens it.

I think it's dependent on the lighting on set - when they film him outside he's still blond with some grey around the temples.

The only other films I've seen Peter in was Hunt for Red October - great film and Peter's performance was good even though he played a bad guy, and Shadowlands which is one of my favourite films ever. He has a very small role as a doctor, but does well with it. At least he wasn't playing a weirdo or baddie in this.

On Peter himself, I read somewhere that his interests included sailing and cooking. This probably explains why he often has a nice natural tan and a healthy, erm, figure...

Really, sailing?! How awesome!

Note to all men on the forum: cooking is a skill that will endear you to women like no other. Very sexy.

Definitely JHyde LOL

That explains his tanned skin, yes.

I have to say that I think he was at his best in series 7. He really had a "healthy figure" in that series and a better wardrobe manager. He tended to take his jacket off more as well. I dont think he has taken his jacket off since the end of episode 1 in this series. Yes his hair does look lighter outside but sometimes a tad ginger I think. Not that there is anything wrong with being a bit ginger....

The ginger card at Tescos Big Grin lol. (For those who haven't heard, Tescos had to recall a Christmas card which had written on it "Santa loves all kids, even ginger ones." Slightly off topic, but Tea Lady's comment about PF having slightly ginger hair reminded me.)

Any particular reason why you don't like his jacket Tea Lady?

I just dont think his suits fit him quite as well in this series and he hardly does his buttons up. He also had a nice grey suit in series 7 which has vanished. I have already banged on about his white shirts, but I also liked his choice of pastel coloured ties in series 7. These too have vanished. Angel

Tea Lady is right. I noticed, in S7, that his suits looked to be cut better and fit him better. Also, that he appeared to have slimmed down and looked great sans jacket. Actually I think hie S7 wardrobe was the best of all series.

Yes I totally agree lwhite 53. He had lost a few pounds for series 7 and looked very good on it and I think he knew that. We all know when we have put a few pounds on. It certainly effects my confidence. I dont mind his red tie he is wearing in series 8 though.

I generally like his ties -- classic and not too flashy.

Maybe if they let him get out of the office more, as in S7, the weight will stay down. And the grey suit will fit again!
