It's rather OTT but PF is sweet. He acts very well in it - understated, while others are rather hammy. Oh, and another full frontal...

I am not saying that I don't think it's real, just that the listings could have been done a little better perhaps. I have also asked for information on the actual charity as this isn't mentioned.
While the tie isn't my favourite tie it is worn in one of my favourite scenes so we will see....

Forgive me if this has been brought up before but I simply can't face reading through 200 some-odd postings looking for a past discussion about this.
I watched An Awfully Big Adventure last night. As twisted and disturbing a take on the Peter Pan story as this is, I thought PF was one of the best things in it as the devoted Stage Manager Bunny, AKA Tinkerbell. Bunny is one of the few characters that is not caricatured. His performance is very understated and it could have gone way off the deep end. It teetered on it, but never actually toppled into the overacting for laughs abyss. There were a lot of acting-in-between-the-lines moments which he does so well. It is a character that unfolds slowly and Bunny has a whole plot line all his own underneath everything else. I prefer his plot line as it is a whole lot less...um...sordid.

Well put, A Cousin - PF's the best thing about the film, I think (not that I'm biased or anything...
). Huge Grant overacts madly (but on the upside, at least he DOES act for a change) and Rickman I just found rather annoying. PF is very sweet and wonderfully understated.

im starting to think he is one of the best things in anything he is in! he has a great voice for documentarys i caught one on BBC HD the other day

I've bought the audio book Tess of the d'Urbervilles read by PF. He does lots of interesting accents and voices in it - it more than makes up for it being Thomas "Tedious" Hardy! (BTW, I got it new on Ebay very cheaply)
