... when you are watching The Big Bang Theory and one of the characters (Leonard says): "you're going off grid" and the next he says has "kudos" in it, you instantly think, is he refering to Spooks? But you're very disappointed when you find out that kudos is actually a word with a meaning.

When you take your laptop to work and write fic on the train... In the pub before work... Are very nearly late for work due to being unable to stop writing... Work on it again all through lunch break... Get so lost in fic world that you're totally out of it when you go back to work...

I would recommend that you did that Tea Lady. Failing that, just hide his favourite biscuits/cd/the tv remote until he surrenders.
...when on holiday you spend too much time working out what the local time will be when Spooks will be on in the UK, and then spend the next couple of days glaring at all computers you see, wondering if you could hijack them for an hour...
