Hi,
I'm Nitrus, I am the owner and primary administrator on this forum. I live in the UK, and enjoy TV, camping, outdoors, gaming, programming, web design, tennis, football, rugby etc etc.

I've been wanting to ask what Nitrus means. This might be a good place to do so. Also, did you take over from another administrator or did this whole forum start in July 2009. Every time I read one of your posts, I stare at your join date and get confused.
I used to love hiking and camping but I never found any hiking buddies after I moved to Texas. Now it's the treadmill and gardening, feeding the birds, etc. My last camping trip was alone on the beach at South Padre Island (other campers there so not totally alone), getting sand blasted all night instead of sleeping. Nobody told me the wind never dies down.

Nitrus is a name I chose when I first played Counter Strike way back in the day.. it comes from Nitrous Oxide.. but I didn't like the "o" in Nitrous.. so just took it out.
Since then i've joined too many places under that name to use anything different.
To confirm what bertowud said, the forum started in July 2009 and has grown exceptionally, this is greatly due to the hard work of the Staff team and the incredible enthusiasm of the members.
