Currently shatterd after an amazing night last night... I don't know how much money we raised for Japan yet, but it was one hell of a gig, every band that played were amazing and my headlining band got an encore at the end of the night, haven't sceamed and headbanged that much in years haha
Hope we raised a lot of money! Also my Oyster Cards arrived for my trip to London in June today

almh: I wouldn't worry too much about the press release, it was too spoilery even though there were spoilers in it
it doesnt give too many details other than people leaving, people coming in and the story arc in not too much detail so... *reads it again* well actually maybe there are quite a few spoilers but if you wanna keep it all a secret don't read it haha, I can't help spoilers for some reason, I have to see them 
...

LOL! I'm in Australia so they went back
Although I did put them forward to start with ... Nice not to be waking up in the dark - at least for a few weeks!
Currently have the flu and have a major assignment (40%) due tomorrow and my new TV (2 months old) has packed it in (won't turn on), my old computer (which the kids use) has done the same - both yesterday, so I'm not going to work today and going to stay home and feel sorry for myself! At least I bought myself a new computer a couple of weeks ago

Thanks, HellsBells. Two issues resolved themselves (TV & computer), am feeling slightly better this morning (moved from thick head to sore throat and swollen glands, which I find easier to cope with) and plugging on with the rest
As a friend of mine once said to me: if you're going to be emotional throw yourself into it and give yourself over to it, so you can get through it quicker. Well, wallowing in self pity only lasted a couple of hours and I now feel rather embarrassed by above post

Just simply a stunning day here in the UK, not a cloud in the sky. At least here on the South coast. Brilliant weather for filming Spooks! Have spent this afternoon walking the dog and children along the Sussex coast. Skimming stones whilst munching a Magnum Classic, what more could you ask for? (it's an ice cream!)

HellsBells, ended up getting a weekend extension for assignment, so have until Sun night. Have first draft completed and now need to prune (nearly 1000 words over the word limit) and tighten the focus. First day of school holidays here (NSW) and taking the younger kids to their dad's for a week - 5+ hour round trip. So will have no distractions after this evening - apart from SF ...

I'm on final run for my Masters course...sorting data, analysing it and trying to come up with a 6,000 word write-up which makes it seem like I've found something interesting. I'm at the 'sorting data' stage, so a lot to do by the final submission date of 26 April.
But the weather's lovely, so hubby and me are off to walk round a big park, take photos of bluebells and butterflies, have a pint or two in a local hostelry and then I might sit in the garden with my laptop and do some more work.
