Yes I think we will see more of the Chinese. I'm sure the Chinese embassy, the real one, will be delighted - NOT!

Shocked to witness Lucas' outburst in the hospital. Nobody ever yells in a hospital unless for an emergency. Yelling Maya's name and running down the hall....I thought he had lost his mind...then kissing passionately with a Doctor who practices in that hospital...unbelievable!

I love RA but this storyline is grating on my nerves. I sadly don't believe Lucas is playing Maya. Just look at his face when he hugs her....that's the face of someone in love. He doesn't need to hide his true feelings when he's not facing her. Watching Lucas frame a fellow agent was painful and I'm glad Ruth is on his trail. Can't see why he would need to do that if Harry were in on the Albany/Vaughn scam.

Makes me think that all this Kai triple agent business is what may be happening to Lucas too. What Kai said about being a good traitor....I think is very significant. He thought he was doing the right thing but in reality was being manipulated by both sides. Like the rest of you I'm hoping this Vaughn connection becomes clearer sooner than later....although I have a sneaky suspicion we won't get to the meat of this intrigue until the very last episode....that really would be a drag.

I am not sure if it's lack of chemistry between the actors or something to do with Lucas and Maya manipulating one or the other. I hope they don't overdo this in the next few episodes.

I completely agree with you on this..
How does Vaughn know that 5 has a file called Albany?

This.

And yeah, I'm not sure "playing Maya and Vaught" thing is looking that likely given the acting of the Maya/Lucas parts, I'm just afraid the alternative is that Lucas is just being embarrassing and stupidity is going to bring him down. Huh

Probably not the first or last time that's happened in life, but for a really interesting character like this, it would be a really wasted way to go out, IMHO.

I don't think Lucas is that stupid, for love or anything else. Eight years in prison to throw it all away...i can't get my head around it. I didn't think the hospital seen believable, and after seeing it 2 more times, I'm still convinced there's another plan at work...sure is interesting though, isn't it? Keep the faith!

Is it me or is this series actually rather good?

No argument from me.

I am really enjoying the complex weekly episodes and the look as well, although I could not tell you why it seems different, and despite perhaps an even greater than usual need to overlook some of the contrivances to make things work.

Dimitri and Beth are good so far and I think they were wise to make Beth totally opposite to Roz in every way, she is a nice change and no challenge to the memory of Roz.

I am enjoying watching Harry and Ruth almost reversing roles, although I am not sure I like it. Harry seems to be a bit shaken and shaky, and Ruth is getting more confident every week. Will they ever get together?

And then there is Lucas. While I can't make sense of much they do with Lucas, he seems to have been all over the place since he joined pretty much, this series has reached a level where I am on the edge of my seat and just cannot wait until I find out what it is all about, (and that Lucas is really ok). Big Grin

Just wondering if it's me, but I have rewatched that scene in the underground car park and can't help but think the Chinese agents try to grab Lucas first. Is it me? With all the explosions, flashing lights, alarms and general confusion, it's hard to tell. Add that on to the fact that we now know the Chinese want Lucas, perhaps it's not to crazy to think that. It's worth watching again tonight on BBC 1 or on the Iplayer.
