LOL I'd say you've covered all bases!

I'm also suspecting Harry's dog and those funny background people on the Grid! Big Grin You can never be too careful!

In fact, I think those nefarious plants outside Lucas's house could be traitors too!

We only saw the hall and one room - remember the comment about his mum sleeping in the other room, so Lucas didn't see anywhere else. If there were only two furnished rooms it wouldn't take long to clear them out.

Swings. Sheds. Ponds. LOL What garden feature next week? Do you suppose Harry still lives in an apartment otherwise I'd be fascinated to see what's in his garden. Perhaps a window box! Sorry, off topic I know but couldn't resist.

Not to forget Ruth's cat that's gone into hiding. Why??

[Moved this to Rumours and Spec thread. Thought that's were I was, sorry]

If this really was not Malcolm's house, and was a MI5 set up, I really don't think they would have made such a mistake to leave a swing in the garden, if Malcolm did not know any children. For all we know, Malcolm has nieces and nephews coming out of his ears or possibly a god-child. People who don't have children themselves, can know "other" children.

Small chuckle and now serious again, if Lucas is the ultimate betrayer, I lose. I'm on record for Ruth bad, Lucas good but being handled.

Thinking of it overnight and with others' comments, I think it makes sense that
Spoiler: show
Malcolm is right up there for suspects. Hugh Simon looks to be back for only a couple of episodes and Firth would probably think Ruth least likely, Malcolm second least likely.
Truth be told I'm open to anything but it had better have a solid reason.

BravoNine, if RA goes missing, we will find your cookie jar. You can run but you can't hide.

Apropos: Malcolm
He is reportedly a marksman (wikipedia cites MI5 assessment tests) but this has never been seen in action. Will he be involved into
Series 9 Spoiler: show
the final showdown? Fancy a triello?

I've been away on holiday for a week and have finally caught up with not only the show but all the comments here. It's a fascinating thread!

OK - I really have to stop screaming at the TV as I'm watching this show! Unfortunately I have a feeling that it's only going to get worse in the next two episodes! Great stuff from the team on the Grid - as everyone said, it's lovely to see them all working together in lock-down and brought out the newer members as well.

My main reason for shouting at the TV came from Lucas's actions of course. Whether we like what he's doing or not, it's a brilliant portrayal of someone losing their grip. Lucas wandered back and forth across the moral divide in this episode and his fear and desperation was palpable. The ending with the cybergeek girl was especially chilling as the gentle tender Lucas used his caring side to ease a woman to death. I actually got chills. It was astonishingly awful to watch - like seeing someone losing their soul.

I can't wait for the next two episodes yet I don't know if I can watch them. Ah the genius of Spooks writers - suck you in and make you slowly die inside for the characters!

My TV cut out right after Lucas realized Danielle wasn't in the car and started running down the road. When it came back she was in the car and asking for permission to call her people. How did Lucas find her and get her back into the car? Thanks!

Seriously love this show!!!! Heart

Anyone else excited that RA has been cast in "The Hobbit"?!?!

You didn't miss much. He started calling her and running around, found a piece of her jewelry and caught her pretty quick. She was yelling at him because she didn't trust him, for obvious reasons.
