Both Amazon and Play.com have series 9 up for pre-order with a release date of February 28, 2011.

im so pleased its so soon, then again most BBC dramas bar doctor who and spooks are a couple of months after air date, ashes i think was a couple of weeks!

Yeh, after 9 years, they have decided to change things for the better and release the DVD's earlier. I would have thought it more sensible though, to release before Christmas?? What do I know about economics though.

i agree have s9 out start of dec would get christmas market! amazon are selling the other series for under 11.00! but s8 only came out a couple of months ago

Maybe we'll get some opinions on how the series played out? Alternative ending? I agree, wish it was coming out in time for Christmas!

True, but Feb-March is infinitely better than October-November.

At long last it looks like we may get some interviews with the cast. Definitely an interesting clip with NW and PF, are they finally going to interview them together!!
