When...

1. You're studying the Cold War in History and then first thing that jumps to your mind is.... Harry was in Berlin then and the second is 'did someone say Yalta? Ros was part of Yalta!'

2. You see a women on the bus with the name label 'Joanna Carter' and think - Jo would have been called that if her and Adam had got married

3. When you're watching Moulin Rouge with a friend and insist on telling her exactly how like Satine and Christian's relationship harry's and Ruth's is....

They meet
They are briefly happy
She leaves/ is told she is dying
She comes back/ He comes back to her
They are happy
She dies.

When the latest items you've checked out of the library are:

- Charlie Chaplin's 'Gold Rush'
- "Top Secret: Shady Tales of Spies and Spying" by Laura Buller, Joe Fullman, Ben Guillard, and Jim Pipe in association with the International Spy Museum (I found this in the children's section and it's quite fun and interesting so far!)

- 'The Red Shoes' is on request because the only copies my library system had was a remake of the original and thus not likely to be the version Ruth was watching (at least that's what I'm telling myself.)
- Series 3 of 'Cold Feet' is coming soon and I really like Hermione Norris in this show.

And last but not least, I am hoping that one of the 3 jobs I've applied for in the past couple of weeks pans out - even though I'm not crazy about any of them - because then I will once again be employed and can start investing in a region-free DVD player and Spooks DVDs.

You know you're a spooks fan when...
your maths teacher asks you to turn to section D of the text book and copy out the grid and you automatically think of spooks.
