Does this mean its defiantely the end of spooks, does it have to be collected before the 27th because thats when they are going to stop renting the factory where the set is???

It's taking a break - And yes we are in the process of moving out, hence the quick sale.

Ah but a break is not the end....Kudos will go off and make new stuff, discover its rubbish and then re commission spooks!!!! Cake please!

Doesn't filming take a break every year for six-seven months? I doubt Kudos keep the "factory" on rental not being used. Perhaps they were allowed to store stuff free before and now not - hence the sale of old/big stuff. Perhaps the location has a new owner/is being sold/is being demolished. It is, after all prime real estate and what with the olympics next yr and all the economic troubles, sales of big factories do happen.
That doesn't mean Spooks is finished. Far from it. And no offence to the poster, they didn't say Spooks is over. They said they have to move out. Perhaps that's nothing different than happens every yr. I don't believe a decision has been made. I also have the faith that Kudos will make an official announcement when that time does eventually come.
And Spooks has used different tables, it's clear upon any rewatch.

When the "factory" is not used for filming Spooks, its also used for filming other Kudos shows, such as Ashes to Ashes and Hustle. Maybe they will use it now to film the new Kudos Spy drama, Morton, but that's for another thread.

At least we know the reason behind these sales now so thanks Lizac for the information and giving us the opportunity to bid.
I've just been informed by Mr TL that we have no where to store the table, no means of picking it up and no time before the 27th to do so. I think he's just being plain unfair
