hello to all,
I'm a spooks fan through and through. i really like drama like this, fast paced often thought provoking and fantastically unreal at times. I look forward to sharing thoughts on the forums. E.g. Adam had to go, can we return to having senior officers who are not the story in themsleves but rather live through the story?

In Spooks the Senior Officers have always done both, been the story and live through another.

Hello! I agree with what you are saying - I used to get really annoyed that there was a leading officer (normally a man,) who the series seemed to have a major focus on, although this has been happening less frequently with each series.

As for being and experiencing the story I, personally, felt there was a subtle but important difference between Tom centered stories and Adam centered stories. Those surrounding Tom did not seem to revolve around him rahter they unfurled around him. That's my thoughts anyway. it's hard to express quite what you mean in life sometimes.
