Ruth: "Go for a drink we must, Harry."

Yes, I also think it's a good sign that he's aware of his own dark side and is guarding against giving into it.

According to Ian Wylie's blog on 8.8, Harry in one scene
Spoiler: show
has a tear in his eye. What could be causing our Mr Pearce to cry?

I'm thinking
Spoiler: show
it may have to do with another death in his team? Another option could be that it has something to do with Ruth - maybe a tear of joy because they're making progress in their relationship?

What do others think?

Well
Spoiler: show
I tend to get these things wrong completely, but I would be amazed if he was crying because of a death in his team. Surely this is the cliff hanger for series 9? I guess though we found out about Danny in the same series. The blog mentions something about a rooftop and Ruth's singing. It doesnt sound like a sad moment to me more just an emotional one. It also doesnt specify which rooftop they are on. If he was crying because of a death in his team wouldnt it be obvious that was why he was crying? He wouldnt need to make up a silly excuse saying it was the wind?

I will spend the next three days day dreaming that they are on the rooftop of Ruth's apartment block, having just spent the evening in bed together, and they have just said that they love each other, that is why Harry is crying.......I told you I always get these things wrong !
