Discuss............

I have plenty of things to say but I thought everyone else ought to say something first Wink

He doesn't have enough roles, considering how good of an actor he is... Sad

RE: Robert Glenister - HellsBells - 19-09-2009 05:43 PM

How long has he played the part of Home secretary in Spooks ?

RE: Robert Glenister - whufan - 19-09-2009 05:57 PM

He's been in Spooks since series 5.

Nitrus, he's been in plenty but apart from Hustle, and maybe now even Spooks, he's never had a particularly prominent, consistent part. He still does theatre (which is more than I can say for his brother) and he does quite a few radio plays and audiobooks.

It's annoying that the good theatre actors rarely get recognised for their talent, compared to television actors. And he is an absolutely amazing actor, shown quite clearly through Hustle and Spooks... although I haven't seen him in anything else Blush

I became a fan when he was in Sink and Swim in 1980. I was 13!

Oooh, did he have a big part?

RE: Robert Glenister - whufan - 19-09-2009 08:11 PM

Yes. He and Peter Davison played brothers, the main characters. In fact it was because of Peter Davison that I watched it in the first place. Robert at IMDB just to give you an idea of the range of things he's been in.

Oooh, I may watch it soon Smile

You won't. It's well and truly locked up in the Beeb archive Sad
