I actually thought that was Harry up against the window with the cake stand, I really did.

Like the new avatar Beatriz.

LOL
I have one question for Tea Lady: It's very expensive, isn't it?

(Thanks girls!! It's a screen capture from 8.5)

I need a new location to be back on topic!!! Wink

Someone posted something in the episodes 5 discussion about a location being re-used. I'll go grab it.

I remember that place being near Canary Wharf, from a shot in 5.5. It wasn't the only location they were reusing, I've already talked about that location they're using again from 6.10.

I cant really remember now. I think we had the set menu which was 3 courses and quite a bit of wine and it was £40 each. I dont think we left much of a tip due to the service. I thought the set menu was quite good value for London. I think lunch would be better than dinner. I think I have used the words "think" and "thought" quite a lot in that paragraph, me thinks.

No, that chap has more hair than Harry (sorry PF) and I think they are fresh fish stands to put the crustacean's on, not cake stands. Had to get the dictionary out for that word.

s8e5 car park scene right at the beginning - definitely NOT Holland Park area. You see the backs of houses in the shot and there are definitely NOT 1950s/60s semi's anywhere near the area!! It's all 4-5 storey Victorian houses or some slightly newer grand houses. In fact the car park of Holland Park doesn't have any houses surrounding it at all!

The closest houses to the car park entrance (on the right) and the fronts of the houses (can't get a pic of the back of them) that you might be able to see in winter time from the car park itself.

Yeah, I realised it wasn't him but only after a bit!

Right I have it. Never the one to give up, I have the location of Harry's house. I basically scanned the area I thought it would be located in (for the reasons in my previous email) and found it. I have to say google maps is great for this as you can get down on the street scene. Harry's house is no.18 West Square, Southwark, London, SE11. I havnt managed to get an actual shot of his house but I found a photo of the house to the left of Harry's which is no.20 as it has a blue plaque award. This may be a bit too far out for GST10. Prices of these houses seem to be in the region of £850,000. I didnt know they paid that much in the public service??? (I'm now away for the weekend so won't see episode 6 until Sunday so I am grumpy now.)

Yay! Well done! Unlucky about episode 6 Sad

That's seriously impressive, Tea Lady.

I know they didn't use the same house in 5.9 as they did in 4.9. Neil Cross and Katie Swindon talked about it on the commentary. It's hard to tell if it was the same place in 7.7.

Well, he wouldn't have paid that 20-30 years ago which might have been when he bought it! You have to remember that in the past 10 years alone property values have shot through the roof to the point of being ridiculous and salaries didn't go with them!
