I was checking the latest Radio Times Listings:

As you can see, on Mon 12th Oct on BBC One... it is not Spooks. It is a documentary called Life:

As you can see from the above link "Life" will run for 10 weeks. So this means that Spooks will not retain it's Monday night slot...
Previous Series have been aired on Thursdays.. so it might be then. Fingers crossed we find out something for definite soon!

I'm thinking its going to be on a Thursday. This would make sense because it would be opposite The Bill on ITV which I know hasn't been doing all that great. It could still be on the week of Monday 19th but may just be a late addition to the schedule, as does often happen. If it airs the last week in October (week of Monday 26th) then 8 weeks would take it up to finishing the week before Xmas so this is a possibility. I guess we'll just have to be patient!

this is getting as bad as the wait for Waterloo Road which was said to air last week, now moved to end of Oct.
I'm not happy with the BBC atm, keeping us waiting! lol
