Spoiler: show
Exactly, Harry needs a sign or sth from Ruth right now, he can't do anything as Ruth is still overcoming her husband death... It wouldn't be fair, (I've said this somewhere before)what she needs now is time, her life has change a lot: no husband, no family, "new" job... She needs to get used to her old new life...
And Harry knows that, he understand it and act as he should, I reckon he would have liked to confort her...

I'm uploading the RT quote about 8.4 onto Spooksforum, it has a really good section about Harry and Ruth. It says
Spoiler: show
"...Spooks fans of long standing are probably more interested in the renewed detente between Harry and Ruth, who is now back on the Grid full time. Harry, tell her you love her! If she looks at you any more longingly her eyes will pop." Nice to know that Alison Graham, editor of the Television section for the Radio Times, has taste and knows what she's talking about Wink

Hey guys,

Just to make life easier in this thread, spoilers are now OK and do not need to be tagged. The one exception is confirmed spoilers for episodes that HAVE NOT AIRED YET. In other words, if you know someone's getting bumped off, or of a plot development outlined elsewhere, spoiler tag it please.

Thanks.

Big Grin Thanks JHyde.

The body language during the bench scene in 8.4 was interesting. Harry is leaning towards Ruth, and is looking at her for most of the conversation, whilst Ruth is facing straight ahead and only glances at Harry a few times. I think that portrays perfectly where they're at at the moment - Harry knows what he wants and is willing to show it, whilst Ruth is unwilling to let him in. At least she did give him a rather lovely smile later in the episode when he allowed her to follow her hunch and prove that she was right, so maybe there's hope yet.

Yeah, I was thinking that - their body language definitely was an indicator of how they were feeling. Ruth tries to keep her emotions and feelings private, whereas he wants to tell her he loves her, if she would only let him!

Oh yes! Wink I knew that there was a good reason for studying English GCSE - so I could analyse each part of their relationship Wink
