I don't blame him being frozen lol.

Oh, and stop blaming Tariq!! He's only doing his job.. you'd feel differently if he had to interrupt them to save the country!

That explains both face expresions, Ruth's and Harry's. I particularly liked Harry's. Tongue He was like "I have the situation under control, that question doesn't affect me at all!" Tongue

I don't blame any of them! Angel

Nah, I'd just move whatever the emergency was to the next ep.Tongue

I also love the look Harry gives Ruth as he comes into the office and sees her there, filled with longing and resignation in equal parts. He really wasn't expecting anything from her, so no wonder he froze for a bit after she asked him out...

Yeah, lwhite, we can do with one crisis to be postponed to give those two a window of opportunity. Wink

Why was Ruth in his office in the first place watching the news on his PC? Ruth would never have done that in the old days. She would never have gone in there on her own and touched his equipment....so to speak. The look Harry gave her when he walked in was very cute, it felt like he was saying with his eyes that I like coming back to my office and finding you here. Things will be ok, if you are here waiting for me.

Yeah, I like that too. the only other time I could remember her doing it was her final episode in 5.5, waiting to talk Maudsley with Harry. And I love that controlled, almost robotic little walk she has going with the perpetual piece of paper of file clasped close (probably with her lines on it!)

She was there waiting to pick up the pieces after the HS resigned as she knew Harry'd be upset. Pro-active Ruth -- a new action figure!Tongue

Oh I forgot about 5.5. Yes she was in there sitting at his desk. He didnt mind then either ! Yes Ruth is certainly getting closer to Harry and pushing those barriers out of the way which have appeared over the last 3 years. Being in his office is her getting closer to him. I just hope Harry has realised what she is doing and responds. After the "bench love" scene the ball was in Ruth's court. Now she has bounced the ball back. Surely they are past the stage in their relationship where they just go out for dinner or to the cinema. Surely the next step is huge.

From your lips to Kudos' ears, Tea Lady! I would say a drink in a cosy bar.
