almh's going to sooooooo annoyed she missed this conversation! I love it when there's a few of us talking something out online like a chat. This thread, Harry's thread and the episode threads really benefit.
Who knows? If we get a season 9, maybe Harry possibly being in another life or death situation might just force the issue.

Although, after the events of 8.1 Harry and Ruth seems to be on much more of an equal footing, and in 8.7 the way he tried to reason out his decisions with Ruth indicates that there is much less of a boss/underling tone to their relationship than there had been before she left. And maybe Harry will be in that life-threatening situation in 8.8...

And congrats guys! This thread's just hit the most viewed list. I've been expecting it for a bit, and it's a testament to the enduring popularity of this couple that it holds its own amongst the angst of waiting for season 8 to start and the episode discussions.

But I didn't with Harry. It might be a different set of issues but not the usual ones. Although maybe the time thing though.
I keep coming back to that thing of how intimate it can be, having a relationship in an already clandestine world. The thing is, that Ruth and Harry have always felt like that in the moments they snatch together, so I don't think sharing will be their issue.
You know, when it happens.
