I agree - we definitely see a lot of that, and most clearly in 5.5
Going back briefly to the commentaries, NW is brilliant in them! You get some of them where it's the producer and the director and it gets a bit dry, but when they get some actors/actresses in, it's so much better, and NW is brilliant on them. Maybe that's why there aren't many for 5 - because she seemed to do most of 4 as I recall, and maybe no one was free for them.

I have never watched any of the commentaries as I feared they would be a bit dull. I will have to add this to my list of things to do in 2010 which is growing daily at the moment.
I have just noticed that we are on page 50 of the Harry and Ruth thread. How great is that ?

Being a bit picky but the shot of Harry and Ruth's hands, isnt the back of the bus seat missing? Has this been edited out?

Nope, it's there. Just harder to see as the image isn't as wide as the original shot. You can see the seat rim at the top of the text, and the bottom right corner has the connection point between the seat and the bar.

I also love that NW says on the 4.9 commentary that Ruth is falling in love with Harry so much during that episode. Awww, it's great that the two actors are so invested in this relationship.

They're the ones that really started it - the writers said that there was nothing there so PF and NW showed the relationship subtly growing at the beginning.

This thread deserves it!!I was stunned that NW and PF said something was definitely going on between them in the Series 2 DVD interviews!! They didn't show anything between them in this series...
