Which series of Pie in the Sky was she a guest star in? The ABC Shop in Oz are selling the DVD's on sale atm.
Also Nicola's episode of Being Human "The Longest Day" airs this Friday 8 30pm on ABC2. I hope Being Human makes sense if you've never watched any other episodes before

She was in the penultimate episode of Series 5 (the last series), titled "In the Smoke". A lot of US fans would love to know whether Series 5 is available on DVD since it was never released in the US, presumably because of rights issues. In the UK, the show was only ever released as a DVD box set which covers all 5 series and even that is now available only at an outrageous price.

I think you will be able to understand Nicola's guest role even though you have never seen the series before, and the episode does give enough of a recap of past events for the casual viewer to understand what's going on.

Bloody abc2 and the lack of a proper recording system. Favourite bit: "Are you guys smoking? Oh thank Jesus... I've been wanting one for ages..." or something like that.

Just a reminder : Nicola's guest episode in Vent will be repeated on BBC Radio 4 Extra tonight (7.6.2011) at 22:30 GMT. Its a small but interesting guest role. Non UK fans can listen via the BBC iPlayer for radio. For any recently converted Nicola fan, this is a good chance to catch up with some of her past radio work.

I just discovered that WLIW (Channel 21) in New York will be airing Oliver Twist on Masterpiece Classic. NW plays Sally.
Part 1 will air on Fri. 10 June at 11:30pm and Part 2 will air on Mon. 20 June at 9pm (to be repeated on Fri. 24 June at 11:30). I think I missed the Monday airing of Part 1. Oops!
