It'd be cheaper to swim. Those two would be worth it. Tongue

I've started looking for flights... Silba AGAIN! Confused I'd love to go!!!

I do a mean bacon sandwich with overnight accomodation and can offer fresh towels as well, to dry yourself off after a long Atlantic swim Wink

As for Claudie Blakley, I've not come across her before. Everyone seems so excited about her though. Quite amazing that this play has attracted three relatively super actresses then.

I've been looking at flights too, but I think I need to sleep on it before I finally decide to really come over for this.

By the way, in the "what's on stage" article it is mentioned that Nicola's TV credits include "Inside Men". Can anybody confirm that it is this Inside Men ? I think I've read somewhere that this is being filmed in Bristol at the moment.

Thanks so much for this info. Daughter lives 5 minutes from the theatre, and have you seen the price of the tickets? That's one fun night I am not going to miss!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same show, since in each of the last 2 years, we found about a new Nicola Walker TV project via her CV posted at a theatre she was appearing in Smile

Sounds like a great play but sadly I can't get home for that. Yes, A Cousin I have seen the prices and I just cannot believe what's happening with air tickets these days! (Can't decide who to blame more - stupid government taxes or the oil industry holding us all to ransom)

If anyone does manage to go, let us know what it's like. Tamzin used to be a pretty big name, it's odd they left off her substantial screen credits from her bio as she was mostly cast as the female lead and was considered a darling of the BBC at one point?

The Inside Men mini series sounds interesting too. Glad to see Nicola is getting work, she seems to fair quite well on getting consistent (if non major) roles, which is what PF did for a long time. I can see Nicola making it into that 'older character actress' category in a decade or so.

I meant the price of the theatre tickets - £12, or £10 if you are under 26. It sounds like a great evening in an intimate little theatre where the company get to try out new plays in a non-pressured environment free of professional critics. Sound like bliss. I may have to make this particular theatre a regular thing.

I think loladom was referring to the price of airline tickets these days. For me, NYC-London is almost $700. Yikes! I was pretty impressed with $20 theater tickets! Well, $19.5153683526 theater tickets. Where the heck am I going to get that extra $.0053683526, I just don't know. Tongue

It does sound like bliss. Please report back. Big Grin I shall have to wait for NW (and with any luck CB) to cross the pond into NYC. Or at least gets a gig that is broadcast on NT Live. Brilliant actress that she is, it's only a matter of time....
