I have just casually asked Mr TL whether he fancies going and he asked whether it is Panto. I just said yes.

Oh Tea Lady how this comment made me chuckle. I am always dragging my husband to the theatre in the vain hope that he will enjoy it. So far he has hated A View From A Bridge with Ken Stott and an Equus revival with Alfie Allen (Lily's bro). In fact, during Equus he kept whispering loudly 'when exactly are they going to get their kit off!). I don't know why I bother.

He has however enjoyed the local Panto (we go every year) and Chicago with Denise Van Outen (men are so shallow!).

Glad to know I am not alone. I am still persisting though. I am taking him along to see Hermione Norris in Blythe Spirit in Nov. Will I ever learn?

Love the look Season's Greetings!

I'm also really looking forward to Blithe Spirit Big Grin And also to Anne Boleyn, which I will hopefully (provided me internet lets me load the tickets page finally) be going to see the week after next Tongue

Some further info on Seasons Greetings. From looking at that photo of Mark Gatiss, I think he was also Sherlock's brother in the series? I didn't realise that, doh!

I think I read a tweet from the NW Forum that tickets go on sale at the start of October. I wonder how long the run will be though, as it's obviously a seasonal production? I think it may be a good idea to act quickly if you want to go, to make sure you get tickets, considering the quality of the cast.

Sherlock's brother, and co-writer he was.

Am really hoping I can go to this. Have never been to the National before, and considering the cast, it looks to be a great show!

The National Theater has a very spiffy on-line brochure but they only have up through October of 2010. Can't be long before they update it.

Oh, well...not part of the NTLive in HD series we get in my area, but hey, I will just have to wait for another gig for Ms Walker at the National. Its only a matter of time. Please report back. Its sounds twisted and funny which NW does so well!

For our cousins on the SF, a tweet from the NW forum that you may be interested in:

She's great in Luther, her character is sooo different to our Ruthie...

Reading about interviews... I always wanted to see an interview with NW, but haven't found anything on YT Sad

For anyone who's interested, the adaptation of Oliver Twist which NW was in starts in ten minutes (first three episodes - possibly of three, but I'm not sure) on Watch.
