McDonalds is a disgusting fast good place IMHO. And as for Maccas... I have no idea.

Doctor Who is the only special I'm watching on Christmas Day I think, and maybe some Spooks. They normally do a Holby City/Casualty special but it's been getting on my nerves recently so I'm not going to watch it.

As a good nutritionist Tongue I hate fast food restaurants, you can make your own burger and it tastes better.

Poor mum, she wouldn't understand a thing!!! I could try with my father if I get the subtitles... Challenge accepted Tongue

Or as a sane person Wink Seriously, I don't see the appeal of fast food, but then again my mum does make pretty amazing food Smile

I know. But there's something to be said for the anthropological value of a trip to a fast food restaurant on Christmas Day.

It did occur to me that your mother might not speak English. She'll then want to know what's going on, so you won't be able to understand much between the conversation!

Not long until Xmas! Does anyone have siblings/children that still believe in Santa? If so, what do you leave for him?

When I was a kid, we left beer, mince pies and a carrot for Rudolph lol.

We left a ham sandwich I seem to recall. I think I've already reminisced about not playing Father Christmas after midnight Mass anymore. I miss that. But I don't miss being woken up at the crack of dawn.

Beer for Santa sounds pretty good.

In my family, we always leave "The Magician Kings" red wine and biscuits Tongue

I miss getting up and nervously waking up my parents in order to unwrap all the presents, happy days!!

Our kids always leave a biscuit, a glass of milk (can't have Santa Drinking and driving Big Grin) and a carrot for the reindeers.

What are the Magician Kings, Beatriz? Is that the Wise Men or the Magi?

I think between us (me and my sisters) my youngest sister's belief in Santa has been utterly destroyed. We used to leave out Mince pies, cherry and a carrot. One year one of my parents sprinkled flour/caster sugar around the fireplace and put reindeer prints in.
