Ros is a very well written and excellently performed character. She's becoming a new favorite for me.

Yeh, I really liked her during 6 & 7.. hopefully she does not relent during 8.

She seems to get better each series. Of course, she does get VERY good lines.

Yes, if Ros suddenly becomes a big softie she won't be as good... But I don't think the writers are silly enough to make that mistake. They made her more human in series 6 and 7, but I don't want her to lose all her emotionlessness, because then she won't be as interesting a person.

You're lucky Ros didn't read that. Suggesting she might become a softie. Indeed!

The great thing about Ros is that she is this hard as nails, cool as ice character who has these rare moments of raw emotion which really draw out feelings from the viewers, it is very well done.

GOD I love Spooks. Big Grin

Not to mention the fact that she betrays them a SECOND time during S6 by working for the Yalta group - and still she becomes team leader once she's back in S7?!
Now I know that it's only a show and not reality, but to me loyalty to your country and your colleagues is a fundamental part of the show, so I have a bit of a problem with the way her betrayals are just glossed over.
Spot on.

I was watching 6:5 again today and Ros' betrayal & subsequent pardon [ooh lets forget you're a traitor] really grated on me! Angry

Having said that, I love Ros and at least she's given some decent storylines, unlike a different female spook! Rolleyes

I haven't seen season 7 yet, so maybe Ros will grow on me once I have done. But with the problems I have with her storyline, as well as the fact that poor Jo seems not to have any storylines at all, I'm hoping for another good female character to enter the scene in season 8.
Spoiler: show
Bring on Ruth! We need her desperately!

Maybe they could actually give Jo some good storylines for Series 8? That would be good.
