Ros definitely is a leader, and not a team player. And I think relating to Adam's medical records, it was the right decision. He had a problem that was affecting his work, and he should have made others aware.

I think that's why I love her character so much!! You don't know where she is coming from. I don't think she loved adam enough really. I think what she did was all really for her gain

There is no way in Hades that someone involved in a coup plot against the government will be brought into the Security Services so smoothly or quickly. Not to mention the fact that she betrays them a SECOND time during S6 by working for the Yalta group - and still she becomes team leader once she's back in S7?! Now I know that it's only a show and not reality, but to me loyalty to your country and your colleagues is a fundamental part of the show, so I have a bit of a problem with the way her betrayals are just glossed over.

But remember, she wasn't really involved in the coup. She was unaware of most of the malicious intent on the part of her father and his associates. And don't forget, she saved Juliet from that car bomb.

She was only innocent by ignorance though - I reckon that if she'd taken a good hard look at what she'd got herself involved with, then she would have realised how deadly the coup was.

the first time i saw ros i didnt like hte charactor i think she was meant to be not liked/trusted but by the end of her first ep i lovd her! i think its her wit even at the lowest moment always pulls you in with her! she is likeble and unlikable in the same breath! there has always been a spark between her and adam and harry! i think for me to s5 and s6 might be my fav and i think its ros that did it!

of course she wouldnt be MI5 in real life but this is tv land

Oh she was clearly not supposed to be trusted at first, and the scene at Adam's with the perfume made me rather dislike her because of course then I thought she was wearing it on purpose.

When it came to like about her issues with her father, that's when I softened (hardly the most appropriate word given who we're talking about Tongue) to her, because I was putting myself in her place and sympathising with her. After that, I just became fascinated by her - she's such a complex character, with so many twists and turns, and I absolutely love her for it Smile

Which is the episode where she goes on at Harry/Adam for
Spoiler: show
not telling her about her father's twenty year sentence?
And saying 'You had no right' to do that?

RE: Ros' introduction to the team - Kazters - 09-07-2010 08:44 PM

yeah i still find it odd he wasnt mentioned again though! i think harry feels guilty about that! but she gets him back with ruth whether she realises it or not!

Nia, the episode is 5.4. It's right at the end of the Havensworth episode.

Thanks JHyde.

I think she's totally justified in being angry there though - I certainly would be. And I don't think Harry can necessarily blame her for wanting revenge (although I don't believe the way she went about it was right at all) - he after all does have a go at the person who said Zoe would just get 'a slapped wrist'...
