I've posted something to that effect a few days back on the ABC Spooks 8 Forum - still nothing. I'm hopeful that the "in the Spring" rumour is correct. If they've already bought the rights, then the election result shouldn't affect their screening of Spooks 8.

I ordered Season 8 last night & it's available for American DVD players. Here's the link:

The site is Chinese Ebay but I googled consumer reviews of it & they were positive. I also asked the seller a question & they replied within 12 hours.

Didn't the ABC show season 6 and 7 together? maybe they might do that with seasons 8&9.

They did. Last year, season 6 was shown immediately prior to season 7, in May/June and July I'm pretty sure.
