YFM, I've noticed that on your user page it says that you're away on a self-imposed ban. How well would you say it's working? Mind you, I can hardly talk, I haven't got my story up yet, or done anything else useful since I last posted...

A-level ... I've always loved biology, was prob my best subject up til now but now it has turned evil and betrayed me!! Haha oh dear Sad
And haha what can I say - I'm weak!! Haha.. I started out with good intentions at least! I think my ban lasted a few hours Tongue

Geography betrayed me today in my mock Sad They just have to go and break your heart sometimes Wink

When I started the Critical Thinking course I considered switching to doing Biology as a fifth subject for AS. I hate Critical Thinking. Bringing it back on topic, I dread to think how I'm going to revise for, let alone do the AS paper in the summer.

I think geography can be my new lover lol Wink I actually enjoy revising it Confused Cos from the prerelease material is all about the small gulf states so it is interesting to research Yahoo especially with Dubai now and everything. God that does sound sad! Who knew studying could be fun! Tongue

How are you able to sit some of your exams in Jan and some in June? And have a choice about them?

RE: Exams/Revision Whinging - Kirayuki - 20-01-2010 06:34 AM

Most of the time our teachers decide when the class takes the exams. Jan or June. The idea with doing the written Drama one in January is that if you do worse than you know you can do and the teacher agrees you can then re-take it in June.

17th Century History exam this morning at 9:30! *Fingers crossed* Big Grin

Ooooh, good luck!!!

Yeah, the teachers normally chose, a choice which is normally based on have we finished the syllabus for an exam. Technically I could have sat my C1 Maths exam and my Critical Thinking Unit 1 exams but we only just finished them before Christmas and I think the teachers thought it was a bit too close. But the people doing further maths at my school are doing about 3 modules at the moment.
