Good on YFM! Hope it works out for her. Thhug

Woo! Exam went well i think. (Won't know until results come through but i felt pretty good about it and finished in the time given. Big Grin)

Not exactly an exam related issue but...

I have a music performance coming up (on the same day as a pantomime rehearsal! Grrrr) but i'm throwing everything i can right now at trying to get the college to let me drop it. It's a stupid course that's just causing stress i don't need. I'm not learning anything and the whole course is a mess. Nobody knows what they're doing.
It's only a BTEC and i didn't even want to do it in the first place. (I got pushed into it by the college because Japanese wasn't running!) Thcussing
I have a meeting with my head of faculty to try and sort it out though so i bloody hope i'm successful.

If i am successful at dropping it I may be able to take up classics next year! (Maybe even fast-track if the timetable will allow). *fingers crossed* Smile

Picking up classics at uni level is hard, but it does mean you get a more widelense view of the language than what you might do when you study it over years at school.

God, doing advanced classics at uni was hard enough. Honestly, it was the toughest thing intellectually I've ever done.

I am pleased that your exam went well Smile Is that your last Jan one?

Classics sounds really cool. Its not offered at my school Sad I have to get by with modern history :O

JHyde:

But i'm guessing you enjoyed doing it or you wouldn't have kept at it. Tongue

I think i'd enjoy classics. If i did fast-track then i could get a whole A level in the one year rather than just an AS. It would also go well with my History course i think.

Thanks for the heads up on it by the way. Big Grin

DBM:

Thanks.

Yep, that's my last Jan exam! Yahoo I feel so much better now it's done. Big Grin

I didn't realise Classics was available at my college until after i'd started this year. Sad Don't know how i missed it to be honest.

Drama x 1
Dance x 1 (okay, not as important as the others, but still absolutely terrifying!!!)
Cue panicking...
