We don't know yet whether HN is back. But if she's not that leaves Ruth as the only woman on the Grid. For those of us who want a subtle sub plot getting Harry and Ruth to get it together, this is good news. I'm of the mind that Ros is a goner. My assumption all along has been that Lucas will be made Section Chief and Section D will add two new young officers (a male and a female) to work alongside him.

If Max Brown is Agent #1, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear about an attractive new female joining the cast. Wink

I'm away one single weekend and the things that happen in SF!!

So we have an indirect confirmation of Series 9!!! Big Grin at last!! I still can't believe BBC hasn't made an announcement yet!
I've never seen him in any role, but he seems quite cute Rolleyes

I really hope HN doesn't leave the show, she's a great actress and her character is amazing, I like the contrast between Ros and Ruth.

And I do think if HN leaves, Spooks needs another female character in the grid!

To be honest guys, sad as it is, I think Ros is a goner. The Home Secretary and the other dude (can't remember who) were only just lower down (level-wise) in that hotel than the room with the bomb, when they were injected. They were left in that room by Price's men. So surely if they were looking to be assassinated and the bomb's effects weren't as large as we hope they are, then they would have been placed a lot closer to the bomb. Meaning, that Ros' position and proximity to the bomb in relation to where the Nightingale men left the two diplomats was similar, meaning they (unfortunately) would have been killed.
