I think I have discussed this before on another thread but me and my mum have constant disagreement about which Darcy is better - she backs Firth and me MM. I mean Colin Firth is absolutely amazing in the role I think he has playing snobs with a nice side and who are a bit misunderstood down to a t but I love the almost vulnerability of MM's Darcy and I fell in love with his Darcy more then I did Colin Firth. I think it has to be taken as well that CF had a many episodes and countless hours in which to convey his Darcy to the audience whereas MM had a much shorter time but I feel he did it just as well if not better. I think he used much the same style as he did with Tom and he can't be bettered at portraying inner turmoil and that hint of awkwardness, shyness if you like which I think makes Darcy.

OMG - by pure coincidence I happened upon the Musketeer info earlier tonight and got totally excited... THAT cast.. and now I learn that it's being shot in German.. and "studio work in Berlin"!!!! (no love lost on Munich and Bavaria but I'd go there too Smile)
Not sure though about the 'camp' angle... but MM as Athos!!! my all time favourite Dumas character...and Ray Stevenson, and Mads Mikkelsen... I can't wait.
Thanks for the additional info, I'll drag it all into my lair for further studies and reading between the lines.. and to picture MM as musketeer Smile

Glad to see you are as excited as I am about MM as Athos in Musketeers - 3D is not a big selling point for me but on the other hand MM in 3D - Thud

All for one and one for all!

not too excited about 3D either but I love Dumas' musketeer novels..and MM will be grand
still, you know who I'd prefer to see as Athos.. Wink

Not sure who to pick as Richelieu.
