RE: Your first episode? - HellsBells - 18-09-2009 03:28 PM

I watched from the very first episode. Just treated myself to all the dvds to watch it all again, I'm currently up to series 3

I watched Series 1 last year (after Spooks series 7 came out and hooked me!) and it used to be my treat. My mum allowed me to watch it whenever I'd been good Angel and as a reward after having my tooth pulled out Sad So I started on episode 1 on the boxset, definitely gripping! Although it confused me as I'd seen series 7 so was confused where the people had gone Sad

I began with the very fist epi, but that was because some Ashes to Ashes fans told me to watch Spooks, I thought, I'm not gonna like it, it can't be as good as Life on Mars or Ashes to Ashes... I started watching it this summer when Ashes to Ashes finished

I watched the first episode and like it, different view of things as we are used to watch the news about terrorism for example, then I saw the 2nd one, and the next one, and the next one...... and here I am!!! Another great fan of this show that can't wait a few weeks to see next season!!!

Me too. I was there from day one. I have recently started collecting the DVD boxsets (good prices on play.com) and working through them again - this time with my son who is becoming a fan. We are up to Series 2, with 3 due in the post any day. It's good to watch these things again. They seem very fresh and it is amazing how much you forget, so viewing again is often quite revealing. I also did this recently with The X-Files which is also a fabulous programme.

Series 1. Episode 1.
and every episode of every series since. (And all the available Boxed CD sets)

I'm pretty much like Beatriz. Was told to watch Spooks by the Ashes to Ashes community and so i bought the first boxset and started from scratch.
Afterwards I've collected the boxsets and watched them all via DVD and series 8 on iPlayer. Big Grin

I think it was just a fluke really...I'd been watching Alias... La Femme Nikita...24 .....and was looking for something similar.......it was actually a recommendation from Amazon that prompted me to buy it.
Was hooked from day one but had to wait AGES before each new season was released.

I was hooked from 1.1 - it's hard to believe that was 8 years ago!

I have watched it from 1.1 although I missed some of series 6 as I got a little bored (Ooops!) I remember going in to work the next day and all the girls fancied MM.

My first full episode was 7.1, but I had seen scene of 6.2 before that,
Spoiler: show
where Jo is caught just after Adam gets away with the vaccine, and has a bloody nose
