Yeah I know what you mean... I found it hard to believe most of it and I don't think MI6 would recruit him after certain things..
Spoiler: show
And the whole bomb at Cambridge thing
But then again it is only a bit of fun I suppose Tongue I think if it was just a normal book I read I would have paid more attention to the holes in the storyline etc but with it being spooks haha I dunno that somehow made it different for me Tongue

I´ve read "Personnel Files" and "Harry´s Diary" and really enjoyed it! I´ve bought "Adam Carter: Revealed" as well and will read it now. I´d like to ask about the others 2 Spooks books, I mean "Behind the scenes" and "The Official Guide". Which difference is there between these two books, is it only that the Guide includes only 2 first seasons and the Behind... includes 4 seasons, I mean does it pay off to buy them both, or they "overlap"??? Did you like these books and would you recommend them?

It's really difficult ( if not impossible) to get any of those books in Poland...:@And I really want to read all of themUndecided

Dalia, I do have both the 'behind the scenes' and 'The official handbook', but I haven't really read them yet, just flicked through. If I had to chose just one I would say that 'behind the scenes' is better, very glossy with lots of photos and does indeed cover series 1-4. The official handbook only covers series 1 and 2 but there seems to be more detail for those two series than Behind the Scenes.

Thanks you, HellsBells, I think I´ll try the "Behind the scenes" first, great that there are many photos as well!
Alex15, I´m from Czech Republic and I bought the 3 books I have from the internet shop "Books Depository", the price was very good and first of all, you needn´t pay postage! They delivered the books within 10 days, I was very satisfait with it. You can pay with your credit card there.

I now have all 5 Spooks books and it I compare The Official Handbook and Behind the Scenes, I must say I prefer The Official Handbook. The only deficiency is of course that it covers only S1 and S2, but others, it´s really good and there are many interesting details. Very detailed info about each episode, cutted scenes, etc. The chapter about the initial ideas and creation of Spooks is very interesting, too, I found info I didn´t know before as well. Behind the Scenes is OK, but there aren´t such detailed infos and the articles about real MI5 etc is what you can find everywhere on internet, the photos there repeats as well... What a pity there aren´t Official Handbooks for the next series, too...

It's really sad that there haven't been any books to mark the completion of Spooks. There hasn't been any new books for ages. Signs of the recession I guess.
