Thanks for the update.

In the end it is best for them to be with their parents. Its not like they were very effective spy's were they. Wink The two smallest are too young to remember much if anything at all. The 7 and 9 yer old have a journey in front of them but at least their parents are exactly as they present themselves now. I wonder where the 16 and 20 year old brothers are? I am sure we will find out soon enough.

Weren't there only 7 minors? One is staying with his half-brother in the US but the half bother is 38 and from a first marriage of the only non-Russian spy. Is there one I don't know about?

The CNN article refers to 8 children so maybe they're counting the 38-year old, too.

Yes this is quite high up in the news today in the UK. What I don't understand is, who told the press who he works for? The Government has already said they don't comment on people who work for the security services. Either that peice of information has been leaked for a particular "reason" or some family member has blabbed. Also his body was in the flat for two weeks apparently. Did no one miss him from work? Very strange. Something more going on here I am sure.

Certainly something fishy going on...curiouser & curiouser...

yeah it made me laugh when they said they'd be looking for him for ages and then found him in his flat... now call me crazy but surely that's the first place you'd look?? haha

Like Lucas knew his flat would be the last place they'd look for him (and Oleg)?!

This whole story stinks. I don't want to think that it was a terrorist organisation that killed him, because that means accepting that Al-Qaeda have the ability to assassinate British officials in our own country.

And that makes my skin crawl.

Well let's "hope" it was just a good old fashioned crime of passion or robbery gone wrong...
btw "hope" is not the right word because a man is dead - but I couldn't find the correct one...

Where Al-Qaeda are concerned, hoping it's not them is OK. Even if someone has died.
