Keeley Hawes - Nia M - 01-07-2010 02:05 PM

Just seen a lovely article with Keeley Hawes here

Whatever articles/interviews she does, she seems to be a genuinely lovely person. And she loves knitting Tongue

when she was on twitter she posted pictures of her at her biweekey ( i think) knitting group meeting! where they sit around eating cake and knitting!

Yep Tongue

She's going to be on the new series of 'Would I Lie To You?' at some point - the first episode of the new series is on the 23rd of July I do believe, and she's in the second one they filmed, but whether or not that'll be the second one to be shown is not known.

Appearing in Spooks has certainly been a wonderful springboard for her.

She seems to be everything new on the TV now!!

RE: Keeley Hawes - Kazters - 10-07-2010 10:38 AM

she has certianly gone on to bigger things from spooks i agree but i think ashes is the thing she will be rememberd for she says so herself and to be honest if i was her id be happy with that much the same as glenister will always be gene hunt (and as much as i love spooks in my head rupert penry-jones will always be grimaldi from casanova cos its the first thing i remember seeing him in)

Oh I agree that Alex Drake will be her most memorable path, but it was pretty much certain that her time as Zoe paved the way for that. Although, having said that, she was doing very well in period dramas (but I'm not entirely sure if she did the majority of those before or after doing Spooks or Ashes). Under the Greenwood Tree is a wonderful adaptation of the book (the only Hardy novel I can actually bear to read Undecided) - the lake scene is fabulous Tongue

i think before, things like tipping the velvet were all before ashes certainly

Oh yes, she certainly got a heck of a lot of publicity for that Wink
