Proms?

I managed to get out of my year 11 one I was so glad I missed it, I thought that I'd just end up standing like a muppet in the corner with no one talking to me (most of my friends were in a big group in the other class, and it felt awkward when I joined them as I only really knew half of them, and it really wasn't my sort of thing). I still have my 'prom dress', which I wore instead when I helped out at a charity ball, so not a complete waste of money.

Unfortunately, I do have to go to the year 13 one, but this one looks better as I know more people (bizarre, I know, that I feel comfortable with more people after 6 months of knowing them than I do after what would have been 4 1/2 years of knowing the girls at my old school). That and I couldn't escape the year 13 one even if I wanted to because I know the three girls in charge of organising it quite well, and they can be very bossy when they want to be.
