I haven't read the Twilight saga so I can't give my opinion about it, but I watch the first movie and didn't like it, and I don't think I'll watch the new one.

Wathing a film based in a book I always think is a risk, most of them aren't very good, I admit that it's difficult because you have to tell a long story in 2 hours. There are good adaptations though, such as LOTR.

To be honest, however silly those people are who slit their throats and swim scross hotel pools or gang up on the film's actors, there are others who are equally obnoxious in spreading their hatred of all things Twilight and shoving it in people's faces. Neither group is any better.

Having said that, I was peeved yesterday when I went to the movies and the only movie running over a five hour period was New Moon.

Haha my sister is like a die hard twifan! eugh it makes me ashamed to be related to her!!! Everything you say she relates it to twilight!! Although I must say I have gottten quite good at relating everything to Spooks recently Wink

What I hate is how so many people hate Twilight. People who've never read the books or given it a chance! what they really hate is the fandom and mania that comes with leagues of teen girls who obsess over Edward and Jacob.

It doesn't give those who have read the books and enjoy them a chance. Those of us who haven't plastered our walls with Rob Patz posters, or who call him Rob Patz for that matter.

Its just not reasonable.

I must admit I did like the first book Smile

I gave it to my sister as a gift for Xmas last year and whilst I was wrapping it I casually flicked through and before I knew it I read the whole thing haha oops.
But I didn't like any of the others or the film. I think the books go on to much and when they have the baby - I think stupid! And The Host I found just strange and way to dragged out!
I think I don't like the film because of Kristen Stewart haha she just annoys me.
But as my own sister is a crazed fan I don't think I could criticise it haha It is the first time she has actually read a book in years so I am glad she has found something to inspire her. However I do wish she would spend less time on fan websites... So I can then come on the spooks forum more often!! Haha of course I am not hypocritical!!

I have to say, i do agree that Breaking Dawn was in truth, a complete let down.
But personally, I loved New Moon and Eclipse more than Twilight (the first book)
And I do enjoy the New Moon Movie - its one of my favourites.
Sooo... I think you have to pick and choose with it.
When Twilight's good, its very very good, but when its not its just average.

Unlike Spooks which is perminantly the definition of awesome Big Grin
