RE: Met anyone famous?
Looks like this thread started before I became a member of thre forum but here goes:

I love to read any spy novel or mystery....can spend a whole day doing nothing but read and love every minute of it.

As far as famous people:

I met Terry Bradshaw (American Football player) and the chef at the White House (from a previous administration) and Mike Connors (if anyone is old enough to remember him) who played on a TV show "Mannix"

So, does that make us old if we do remember him? Of course Mannix was only available in reruns when I was a kid.
While I never met or actually even saw her, the actress who plays Hermione was at Universal Studios Orlando last weekend while I was there. She was previewing the Harry Potter section of Islands of Adventures.

Forgot to mention... Met Keira Knightley at a Chanel défilé last year. Struck me as very nice, humble and approachable (she talked to me afterall!). She was a refreshing change in a sea of low-level "stars" who think of themselves as goddesses and won't give you the time of the day.

And she's tall!

Remembering Mannix just means we have good memories...not old!!!!! Smile
Cool about her....Is Hermione Norris tall/short/does she look like what she looks like on TV?

Unfortunately I didn't actually get to see her. Apparently they whisked her in and out through a back entrance.

I think both of you are talking about different "Hermiones". RedCHOCHO is talking about Hermione Norris, our Ros, and bertowud is talking about Emma Watson, the actress who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter saga.

RE: Met anyone famous?
What a great thread.
Some of you have met some seriously famous and hunky people, lol... I am jealous.
I have met Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, and was friends with Jemery Brett - Sherlock Holmes RIP.
Cant think of many others at the mo, but have met a few as I was a theatre buff.
