RE: Hi from New Jersey
Hi, AM - welcome! Lots of students here, all procrastinating! For my part, I'm doing a part-time MSc in leadership & management in public service. I did try and persuade them that I should be allowed to do my 15k word research project on the leadership and management style of Harry Pearce but the university is sooo lacking in imagination...

So, what's your dissertation about?

"Where's Harry?"
"Moving in mysterious ways."

To Picard1109:

Hopefully, someday, the University will see the light and be open to "creative" projects as you suggested...it sure would have been a fun read!

My dissertation is asking what/why are adult students enrolled in traditional bachelor's programs successful? Most research has looked at why college students drop out, I thought it would be interesting to see what we could learn from those, with jobs, families, sick parents, etc. (all the pressures and tugs of life) who manage to cope and complete their degree. Not nearly as much fun as your leadership suggestion but I have found it incredibly interesting.

And I did get Chapter 4 submitted on time! Smile
