That's rather crap. lol ![]() RE: Doctor Who - almh - 07-10-2009 05:08 PM Yes, I have to agree with you on both points. Although my sister could enter the competition... New CONSOLE?!?! I thought it was another monster one!!! RE: Doctor Who - Tranquility - 07-10-2009 05:49 PM I think it's only for one episode, that's what it said. Strange...maybe they do another time clash or something. I really don't want it to change either ![]() Here's the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/bluepeter/getinvolved/competition.shtml RE: Doctor Who - almh - 07-10-2009 05:54 PM ![]() RE: Doctor Who - whufan - 07-10-2009 08:27 PM First of all, I have to confess to not having read the rest of the thread. Tom Baker was the Doctor I was brought up on, so to speak. I was a huge fan of Peter Davison at the time but was not impressed with him as the Doctor. My fave Doctor though was Chris Eccleston. I loved the darkness, the dry humour and the leather jacket. I enjoyed the 1st couple of series of David Tennant but got a little worn down by him so haven't watched the last series at all. I'm looking forward to see what Matt Smith can do. I'm not a huge John Simm fan but as the Master is going to be in David Tennant's finale then I will watch. That pretty much sums up my feeling. (07-10-2009 04:58 PM)Tranquility Wrote: Huge downside though, the age limit is 12 and well, Matt Smith. I really wish we had gotten more than one season of Eccleston's Doctor. i would have really liked to have him deal more with what had happened in the last great time war. I do like David Tennant the best. Tom Baker, however, will always be the first image in my head when someone says Doctor Who. He was the Doctor when I was born I think. I think it's on record that Chris Eccleston much prefers to be on stage and he only does TV to pay the mortgage. |
