Yeh it's definitely the same building.


Anyway, I loved the first part of Triffids, haven't watched the second yet. GOR's performance wasn't great, but that might have been the character rather than her, I felt she played it with little or no emotion whatsoever.

I still don't rate her as an actor.

Haha I am still fighting my losing battle here!! She's not in the second part anyway so IMO you needn't bother watching it Tongue Only joking Big Grin It was really good!
You should watch the state within - she cries in that and everything Tongue I think it was just the character she was playing in day of the triffids was supposed to be cold and emotionless.... much like spooks lol - she was happy to let all the blind people die Big Grin

That woman in the book is certainly a little cold. I haven't seen this adaptation though, so I can't speak for what she's like.

2nd part of Day of the Triffids was a little poor I thought and GoR wasnt in it. The Triffids looked like something they had taken off the shelf at Homebase.

Noticed on the TV last night that HN has a new job. She is doing the voice over for an advert for the "Bath Shop." I think that was the name of the shop anyway. I have to say that I have never heard of this shop and the advert was quite poor quality. Is HN struggling for work then? Perhaps she should sign up for series 9 then....one to ponder
