Slight amendment for Australian TV (but it's okay). Strike Back's being shown over 3 weeks, looks like episodes 1 & 2 on Saturday (12th), episode 3 on 19th, episode 4 on 26th. Then Spooks 9 starts on April 2. So that's 11 consecutive Saturdays of RA...Life is tough! Big Grin

Thanks for the heads up Smile The even greater thing is that by the time nine is halfway through airing DR WHO starts. Happy days Tongue

I got Strike Back for my son earlier this year and watched it with him (strangely enough ...). Didn't think it was the same quality as Spooks. Mind you, that could have been because my son's in the army and kept predicting things before they happened or interpreting what was actually happening in scenes way before it was revealed in the series. Strike Back is 3 x double episodes, which is how I guess the ABC are fitting it into 3 weeks.

I did have to laugh at the ABC screening Spooks in April this year, when we had to wait til October last year! I should get my series 9 DVD about 2 weeks before its's shown on TV!

I saw Strike Back ads last weekend on ABC1. Wish it wasn't showing on Saturdays at 8.30 though. That's not an easy time for me ... but I guess beggars can't be choosers and I'm not really complaining, I promise!

I think the ABC might've got the point that they were too bloody slow with S8 last year.

Is anyone else looking forward to seeing Richard in Captain America? I think it will make a nice change to see him play a bad guy from the start and an excellent chance to show off his brilliant talent.

Ps Cant wait to see Strike Back series 2.

I'm a bit worried about how much RA is going to be in Strike Back 2, whether he is still the lead character or not.
Looking forward to Captain America, looks like a fun film, although I will have to wait until the DVD comes out.

I'd imagine he'll still be in as John Porter, but perhaps "captured" (or similar) and Sullivan Stapleton's character has to rescue him. Unfortunately RA's schedule won't allow for much Strike Back filming (but we can hope). Big Grin

Oh I am definitely hoping for a lot of RA in SB2, but as you say he is committed to the Hobbit filming. I loved SB, lots of action and fast moving (and quite a few RA topless scenes Silba)

The film Frozen, starring RA was on last night. I haven't seen this, has anyone else, is it any good? It is on the BBC i-player for those in the UK.

First video from the set of The Hobbit.
Loved it.

Thank you, GrendelKhan, for sharing this with us! I couldn't view it on a belgian website, due to author-rights or something like that, so you've made my day!!! Can't wait to see The Hobbit and of course very curious to see RA in it!
