Wheels - I can feel your pain. I was treated the same way. The ex spook is TOM. Why is it so hard to give an answer to a simple and polite question?

Because it's not in the correct thread.
While I think the redirection could have been much less abrupt, it is certainly not unreasonable to attempt to get everyone to follow the well advertised rules of the forum to which we all agreed when we registered and post their thoughts and questions in the appropriate thread.

Wheels, I was heading out of the house when I saw your post and I replied hastily, apologies.
I'm closing this thread before it turns into a slanging match, it's been confirmed that there's no alternative ending and the links to the petition from jacko are there for everyone to see and use.
