No, don't stop! This is all really good!!! lol. Malcolm definitely did go 'action man' when he thought he was dying, it definitely shows how the power of death can affect people...

I believe Adam could have smiled at Fiona's killers, but it broke Malcolm's heart to even think of smiling at Colin's murderers.
that was so heartbreaking Sad They made a wonderful team!

hahaha that was great!!

I totally love Malcolm I would like to give him a hug if I see him in the street!

One of my fav quotes is when he quotes Shakespeare, talking about Ruth's relationship with Harry:

"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt"

Malcolm is the techy genius equivalent of Ash Morgan in Hustle. Couldn't do without either character.

RE: Malcolm - almh - 07-10-2009 08:11 PM

I agree, but I'm guessing your enjoyment of Ash Morgan is related to your liking of Robert Glenister Wink

RE: Malcolm - whufan - 07-10-2009 08:13 PM

Well, you know I like Robert but actually Danny is my favourite character in Hustle so I stand by what I said originally - 2 techy guys that keep the shows together.

RE: Malcolm - almh - 07-10-2009 08:16 PM

Yep, definitely. (I don't think Danny is as good as Ash though...)

That explains the restraining order.

I think Malcolm had the best understanding of the potential that relationship had of any character in the show. He probably understood Ruth the most of anyone on the Grid and had known Harry professionally for a very long time.

I think you're right, Bertowud. Malcolm's understanding of Ruth is shown very clearly in episode 3.5, when he pretends to be her brother so that she can go to that Mozart concert to see the guy she has a crush on. He helped her in that episode of his own free will, whilst Sam did it because Harry asked her to keep an eye on Ruth's activities. He was really sweet and supportive to her.

I watched a little of Series 7 episode 8 last night on Youtube. I couldnt really remember everthing that had happened but the part I did see again,
Spoiler: show
Harry and Lucas were trying to escape outside of liverpool Street Station, and Harry made a run for it on his own. Jo went to phone special forces and CO19 to help Harry and Malcolm made her hang up saying something like they couldnt trust them as the Russians could have infiltrated them.
I just had this cold feeling that this was a very odd reaction by Malcolm and maybe he is not the hero we all think he is or want him to be.....one to ponderUndecided
