my daughter has a pony who is 33 !!! thats over a 100 in human years I think. He still rides and trots and canters a bit but no jumping anymore as his joints give him a bit of gip!
She has just turned him out in the snow wearing his xmas prezzie - a new snazzy check combo rug with fleece lined neck - sweet.

I used to ride, but we can't afford to keep horses anymore. Sad

Not a particularly interesting fact about me...

I have 6 guinea pigs, a hamster a dog and a cat (called Fidget). Tongue

Cool haha I wonder where the inspiration for that name came from Huh Tongue I think that is a really cute name for a cat Tongue

I have only one pet, a little Westie who is the naughtiest thing ever..

And the only time I still ride now is on my uncles horse but it is reaaly big and very young and I don't find the two things combine to make her the safest thing to ride on Tongue

Said cat is sat in my lap right now. Big Grin

Awww. Westie's are cute. Mine's a Wire-haired Jack Russel who's pretty old now unfortunately. (Don't know exactly how old but he's pretty old old).

My mum has vetoed any ideas I may get in my head about such things Sad What type of horse is he/she? Do you compete?

She's a 16 (17 in a week!) Highland mare. I just go hacking on her, we have lovely woodland near where I stay. I used to jump and stuff when I was younger but now it's a slower life! Have popped her over poles a couple of times so she's capable. My friend also has a Highland gelding called Nechtan and a Shetland called Snorre. I walk there - 4.5 miles! Talk about horse love!

You all have such rich and interesting lives!

Did I say that I once worked in the Home Office? I never got to do anything exciting though or know of anything remotely interesting. I once lost a paperclip. That had the office talking for a week.

Ooooh! That's interesting. My mum's friend's first job was working for for MI5. Sadly she no longer works there (although maybe that's a lie...)

Ah you see almh, that is interesting!
Sadly I worked for the Immigration Service although I was due to be seconded from my adventurous dept to Intel but head office said no in the end. Would've made a change from signing bits of paper and pricking my thumb with a wonky staple....ah well....
