That's cool, did you work with any comedians we might've heard of?

I've always wanted to have huskies and a dog sled. Smile Fell in love with polar dogs when I was 8.

Toooootally hear you, kirst! I Company Managed Broadway tours for three years. Great pay, crap job. Non-stop traveling as an actor for 10 years prior to that. Its the traveling that did me in in the end as well. Although, I did not leave it for quite as commendable a goal as you. Good for you!

So...I am curious too - who'd you manage?

I originally wanted to join the Royal Navy but at the time they had height criteria and I was too short, though if they had thought about it I would have been perfect for submarines.

Well, I'm in Johannesburg, Cousin & Nitrus, so the ones I managed were South African. We did a show at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2007. But as for folks you may have heard of ... I worked with some Neil Delamere, Brendan Dempsey, Karl Spain, Bernard O'Shea (Irish) on a show in Jo'burg. And I travelled to the festivals in Melbourne, Montreal, Kilkenny and Edinburgh where I kind of alternated between scouting and just generally hanging out with my mates Smile I still see Ian Stone whenever I'm in London. And I spent a fair bit of time with Rhod Gilbert when he was out in Cape Town a while back. Who else ... Ed Byrne and Joe Starr. So yes - sure you must have heard of some of them! Smile

Yikes! Shall we pile into a car Section D-style, bundle you under a blanket and bring you back to the south?

Something about me... I spent 6 years as a Labour councillor, two of them as Deputy Leader of the Council.

LOL! That is very true indeed! The military could use more short people! Cool

I was nearly too short to join the US Marine Corp, but I managed to edge over the minimum height requirement. My recruiter informed me that short females are often the most intimidating marines! Wink

My other Marine Corp friends just says that they could always just send me into enemy lines first as I'm so small that the enemy will never see me coming! Especially if there is a corn field for me to hide in, or some bushes! Silba
