"If?" LOL.

Yes, great moment between them. I'm still finding Tariq a very interesting character. In only 3 eps, he's become totally integrated into the Grid and has killer skills. When both H and R couldn't identify the telephone number, Tariq knew immediately it was a Russian military phone. There's some surprise about him that hasn't been revealed yet.
Spoiler: show
God, I hope he's not part of the rogue agent group
Sad

The problem with Tariq though is we still know barely anything about him - I learnt a lot more by going on the BBC Spooks website's character page. So it's really hard to even guess if he's got any hidden secrets because his entire past is secret.

If he was a mole, surely he wouldn't have made it that obvious though? I think he's just being incredibly clever - his role is the team's techie after all, so he should know that sort of information.

Yes, the lack of info is driving me crazy -- leads me to all kinds of wild speculation! It's just unusual to know so little about one of the featured players, which is why I think we're in for a "big reveal* at some point.

I've just finished watching ep 4, it was absolutely great!!! I think not many things to point out that you haven't mention yet.

I was shocked with Christine 2.0 killing her boss! I didn't see that coming either! I sort of knew she wasn't reliable but... not in this way! Open your eyes Lucas!!

Very interesting Lucas' attempted suicide, it was good to know more things about him, I was worried for Lucas all the time, in the end he handled it well, but I wasn't confident, too much emotions and memories from his past.

As always H&R brilliant, thoug I felt Ruth a little cold, I reckon is because of Jo's death. Harry made himself very clear about his feelings, that's good, he's getting closer Smile "There'll always be something else, Ruth" Heart

About Tariq, I think they don't what to make a fuss about him, just another worker, I don't think he's a mole or sth, surely we'll learn more as series 8 goes on

I'm glad Ruth was right about asset Nick Manning and the Rencon clue - Harry was very dismissive of her when she first showed him the card with Dr E N Constable and the number on it. I liked the scene with Lucas and Sarah after Oleg leaves them in the flat but having rewatched it her accent goes all over the world!!!

LOL!

I know it's just a waste of bandwidth to mention that Christine 2 is not strong enough to pick up a man and toss him over a railing like that. If his center of gravity was higher than the rail, or maybe down some stairs, fine.

They kept us guessing with the Christine 1 character also, as to whether she was in love with or playing Tom.

RE: Episode 4 Discussion - almh - 21-11-2009 07:07 PM

Well, do we know if Sarah loves Lucas??? I doubt it, but still...

I have to admit that the first time I watched the episode I did immediately pick up that there was a clue on the card Wink But that was because of how they showed it - they put it into the script, therefore it had to have some use.

Awww, Harry! You're right Beatriz - Ruth has got slightly more reclusive after Jo's death, but Harry! Admitting he needed someone to talk to about Jo, and that quote! Heart

I thought the same!!! She's quite tiny to be able to lift a man!!

I think Christine 1.0 was in love with Tom in the end, but I agree with almh, don't think Christine 2.0 is in love with Lucas

I've done a bit of self-defence and it is possible, as long as you get the right position.

BTW, don't know if anyone has mentioned this already, don't think they have, but I love the new intro! Ruth!!! But sadly no more Jo Sad

RE: Episode 4 Discussion - Silktie - 21-11-2009 07:48 PM

I liked how at the beginning of the episode Harry knew whose name the Russian was yelling at the camera, but still waited for Lucas to own up to the fact that it was his name and that he knew who the man was. To me it showed that there is still a lot of unresolved trust issues for Harry with Lucas. And Lucas can probably sense that, hence his lying awake thinking about Harry when he's in bed with Nancy Drew. It also explains why Harry lied without blinking an eye when Lucas asked him about the meeting in Basel. It seems Harry really trusts noone except Ruth...
